Teacher Name

Wang Xiaofeng, born in Qishan County, Shaanxi Province, is a researcher in the Department of geology of Northwestern University and a doctoral supervisor. In 2001, he graduated from the Department of geology of Lanzhou University, and in 2006, he graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtained a doctor's degree in geochemical science. From July 2006 to March 2018, he worked in Lanzhou oil and gas resources research center, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and from April 2018 to now, he has worked in the Department of geology, Northwest University. He presided over many projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973 project subproject, key project of "light in the west" of Chinese Academy of Sciences, light in the west of Chinese Academy of Sciences, horizontal entrustment of enterprises, etc. He is a member of the professional committee of gas geochemistry, the professional committee of isotopes, the Journal of Natural Gas Geoscience and the editorial board of Natural Gas Geoscience. In 2008, it won the "Youth May 4th Medal" of Gansu Province, was selected into the youth innovation promotion association of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012, and was selected into the talent training plan of "light of the west" of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. He has published more than 70 academic papers, of which more than 30 are included in SCI / EI.
