Zhang Xingliang, male, born in 1969, winner of National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, Humboldt scholar of Germany, and postdoctoral of Smithsonian Institute of America. Served as vice chairman of Cambrian branch of international stratigraphic Committee, elected member of Cambrian branch of international stratigraphic Committee and leader of the third level working group, director of Chinese paleontology society, director of Chinese Geological Society, geobios, palaeontologicsche Zeitschrift, deputy editor of palaeoworld magazine and other academic positions. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of early life evolution and geobiology, compiling a national planning textbook of "Eleventh Five Year Plan" of interdisciplinary frontier discipline "geobiology", presiding over the research projects and major projects of innovation groups of NSFC, and winning the second prize of National Natural Science Award and the first prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education (2009 and 2001) It has won two awards in the year, i.e. the first and second finishers), the contribution award of Chinese overseas Chinese community, and the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award. The course "geobiology", which is in charge of and is the main course, has been rated as a national bilingual teaching demonstration course.
