张志飞,西北大学教授、博士生导师,教育部长江学者特聘教授、杰青、中组部万人计划和科技部中青年科技创新领军人才,主要从事寒武纪大爆发与冠轮动物(腕足动物、软舌螺、帚虫和内肛动物)谱系演化研究,发表学术论文100余篇,组织学术专辑2部,主持国家杰出青年科学基金和国际(地区)重点研究基金项目等国家科研项目多项,参与国家基金委群体项目和科技部973项目等多个重大项目。研究成果先后获陕西高校科学技术奖一等奖,教育部自然科学奖一等奖和国家自然科学奖二等奖(排名第四)。目前任美国古生物学报编委,国际地层委员会寒武系第三阶工作组委员和中国古生物学会副秘书长等职,西北大学优秀博士学位论文指导教师,2018年度全省高校优秀共产党员。
