It mainly assesses and tests middle school students' knowledge and abilities in the field of Earth science, including geology (including geomorphology), geophysics, seismology, meteorology, oceanography, astronomy, and environmental science. The aim is to create a learning platform for Earth science, stimulate middle school students' interest in learning, select and cultivate young geological talents, and promote the continuous development of Earth science education. In the next stage, the competition committee will recommend the best candidates to join the national training team of the International Earth Science Olympiad. The outstanding team members will represent the country in the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) and showcase the style of contemporary Chinese students on the world stage& Nbsp The next step for our school to host the "Xi'an Earth Science Popularization Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools" will be held from May to August 2024.
