Former Senior Technical Expert of China Petroleum, recipient of the State Council Natural Science Special Allowance, former Secretary/Vice President of the Party Committee of Hangzhou Geological Research Institute, and has presided over the China Petroleum Science and Technology Major Project "Key Technologies for Deep Oil and Gas Exploration and Development". Participated in and presided over the National Oil and Gas Major Project "Evaluation of the Formation Rules, Key Technologies, and Objectives of High Temperature and High Pressure Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Deep and Ultra Deep Oil and Gas", Participated in the Deep Time Digital Earth International Science Program, engaged in long-term research and exploration of marine carbonate rocks and deep-sea oil and gas geology, deeply participated in oil and gas exploration practices in the Sichuan Basin, and made beneficial contributions to China Petroleum's oil and gas exploration and discovery in these fields. Has won 2 first prizes and 6 second prizes for scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial levels, and has published more than 10 translated works and more than 60 papers, including more than 20 SCI/EI papers
