Mai Chengzhi, Vice Dean of Teaching at Pittsburgh College, Sichuan University, holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics. Formerly an assistant professor at Texas A&M University and an associate professor at the University of Alabama. Formerly served as the director of the Mathematics and Technology Learning Center, during which he received multiple top awards related to teaching. In terms of scientific research, he has led multiple research projects, served as a reviewer for multiple journals, and supervised dozens of master's and doctoral students. In 2014, he retired from the University of Alabama and was awarded the honorary professor of the university. I joined Pittsburgh College in January 2016 and was responsible for coordinating teaching management and other related work, coordinating teacher affairs, curriculum management and research and development, carrying out some reforms and innovations in the college, and encouraging colleagues to explore diverse and innovative education. And won the exemplary individual Award for Enrollment of Sichuan University and the Award for Small Class Teaching Achievements
