Ling Bowen obtained a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in 2016. Entered the Energy Resources Engineering department at Stanford University from 2017 to 2021 to conduct postdoctoral research. In 2020, he was selected for the Talent Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and joined the Fluid Structure Coupling Laboratory of the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In December 2021, we received support from the National Overseas Youth Talent Project, with a research focus on the application of upscale physical methods, microfluidic experiments, and multi physics field numerical simulations for flow and material migration in complex media across scales. Its application background covers non-traditional oil and gas fields, microporous permeability membrane filtration technology, new and renewable energy technologies, and the migration of multiphase flow in complex media. My work has been mainly published in journals such as PNAS, JFM, GRL, IEEE-TGRS, and Nature Sustainability
