On January 27th, our department organized the third round of National Natural Science Foundation application promotion meeting. This meeting focuses on improving the quality of fund application forms, aiming to further optimize the content of the application forms through expert guidance and feedback, and enhance the competitiveness of our department's fund project application for this year. At the meeting, Director Long Xiaoping briefly introduced the changes in the application for the National Science and Technology Fund this year, emphasizing the importance of the application for the National Science and Technology Fund for the development of the geology discipline. He hoped that all reviewers would carefully review and provide valuable suggestions for revisions, and expressed gratitude for their hard work. Subsequently, several invited review experts grouped together to carefully review the fund application submitted by our department's teachers. Detailed revision suggestions were put forward from the aspects of scientific problem condensation, innovation point exposition, and text standardization. After the meeting, the Department of Geology provided feedback on the revision suggestions to the applicants one by one and requested them to make serious revisions within a specified period of time. For a long time, our department has attached great importance to the application for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. By holding multiple rounds of application promotion polishing meetings, inviting review experts to refine the research direction of the project and optimize the specific writing details item by item, we strive to improve the overall quality of the application and lay the foundation for effectively improving the fund approval rate.
