On June 3rd, our department held a security and stability work deployment meeting, conveying and implementing the latest meeting spirit of the province, city, and school in a timely manner, analyzing and judging the current security and stability situation, and deploying key work for the next stage. The party and government leadership team, as well as the heads of various laboratories, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chen Feng, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the department.

The meeting emphasized that safety and stability are the bottom engineering of the education environment and the prerequisite guarantee for the orderly operation of teaching and research activities. The entire department must resolutely implement the safety production responsibility system, strictly enforce various safety management regulations and operating norms, and ensure that responsibilities are assigned to positions, tasks are assigned to individuals, and measures are in place; Implement inventory management, ledger based promotion, and cancellation based rectification for the problems and hidden dangers discovered during the investigation, to ensure that the rectification is effective at the bottom. Next, the Department of Geology will implement stricter requirements and more practical measures to ensure the implementation of safety and stability work, firmly hold the bottom line of preventing systematic risks, and create a safe and stable environment for the construction of first-class disciplines and high-quality development.
