- The Party Committee of the Department of Geology went to the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall to carry out practical learning

To warmly celebrate the founding of the CPCIn the afternoon of July 1,the Party Committee of the Department of Geology organized teachers, students and party members to go to the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall for practical study.  

Under the guidance of the lecturers, teachers and students visited Zhang Xueliang's residence and the exhibition hall of the historical facts of the Xi'an Incident in turn. Through precious telegrams, manuscripts, old images and historical materials in kind, they reviewed the eventful years of the 1936 Xi'an Incident, which turned the situation around, and deeply felt the great ambition of the CPC to put national justice first and promote the anti Japanese national united front. The cultural relics that carry the danger of our country and nation, and the struggle to save the nation, have given the teachers and students present a heart wrenching baptism of party spirit, deeply understanding that peace is hard won and that young people should shoulder the responsibility of the times.

This practical study is an important part of the activities of the Party Committee of the Department of Geology to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Next, the Party Committee of the department will continue to rely on the local red resources in Shaanxi, carry out regular activities such as red research, field ideological and political practice, and party member scientific research, and build a characteristic education system of "red soul casting and geological achievements". We will guide all teachers and students of the department to take the century old Party history as a guide, cherish the country, step on mountains and seek stones, and present geological achievements as a tribute to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Party, contributing geological strength to safeguarding the strategic security of national geological resources.
