Li Wei Introduction:
Born in October 1973, Professor at Northwestern University. In 1996 , graduated from Chang'an University with a Bachelor's degree in Geology; In 2001-2004, obtained a master's degree in Geology from the Department of Geology at Northwestern University; In 2004-2007, obtained a doctoral degree in structural geology from the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. Visiting scholar at Western University in Canada from August 2012 to August 2013.
Mainly engaged in the study of orogenic belt structures and continental structures. Using the Qinling, Qilian, and Tianshan orogenic belts as research bases, based on the analysis of tectonic deformation in orogenic belts, we aim to explain and constrain the tectonic evolution of orogenic belts, and study the dynamics of tectonic deformation. Responsible for one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund project and two general projects.
