Wang Aiguo, male, from Liaocheng, Shandong, holds a PhD in Science and serves as a doctoral supervisor Graduated from the Basic Class of the Department of Geology at Northwestern University in 2006, obtained a doctoral degree from the Institute of Geology and Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012, and has been teaching at the Department of Geology at Northwestern University since July of the same year. From February to August 2016, worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Alberta in Canada. Outstanding Teacher of Northwest University in 2015, currently serving as the head of the Organic Geochemistry Laboratory Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research related to petroleum geological exploration, with research interests in the study of organic-inorganic fluid activities in basins. Specific content includes diagenesis, reservoir formation mechanisms, recovery of ancient fluid pressure, identification and tracing of fluids (oil and gas) in oil and gas systems, etc. Teach undergraduate courses on "Organic Geochemistry of Oil and Gas", "Second Year Field Geological Internship", and graduate courses on "Research Progress in Petroleum and Natural Gas Geology"< span style="font-size:16px; Hosted and participated in over 10 scientific research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, PetroChina, and Sinopec, as the first author/corresponding author in AAPG
