Formerly served as a director of the Chinese Society of Mineral and Rock Geochemistry and an editorial board member of the Journal of Mineral Deposit Geology. Mainly engaged in research on deposit geology geochemistry and mineralization background, as well as environmental geochemistry and global change. I studied and worked at Chengdu University of Technology (formerly Chengdu Institute of Geology) from 1985 to 1996, obtaining bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in mineral deposits and mineral geological exploration. From 1996 to 1999, he completed postdoctoral research in State Key Laboratory of Deposit Geochemistry, Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I worked at the Third Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration from 1999 to 2004. During this period, from March 2003 to March 2004, I received joint funding from the National Scholarship Fund and the FRONTIER project of the University of Alaska in the United States, and conducted collaborative research at the International Arctic Research Center. I have been teaching and researching in the Department of Geology at Northwestern University since December 2004&
