HuangLei, male, from Yishui, Shandong, holds a PhD in engineering, a professor level senior engineer, and a doctoral supervisor

Graduated from the Geology Base Class of the Department of Geology at Northwestern University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree.

; I obtained a Master's degree and a PhD in Engineering from the Department of Geology at Northwestern University in 2008 and 2014, respectively. From August 2008 to March 2016, engaged in research related to oil and gas exploration at Bohai Petroleum Research Institute of Tianjin Branch of CNOOC (China) Co., Ltd; In March 2016, I was transferred to the Department of Geology at Northwestern University to engage in teaching and research work In recent years, I have led and participated in more than 20 major research projects related to the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Program, General Program, Key Program, and Production and Basic Research of Oilfield Companies. I have published more than 70 papers both domestically and internationally. As the first author and communication author, I have published papers in JGR Solid Earth, GSA Bulletin, Tectonics, Gondwana Research, and AAPG. Bulletin More than 30 important domestic and foreign journals have been published, including "Marine and Petroleum Geology", "Journal of Asian Earth Sciences", "Science China: Earth Science", "Chinese Science: Earth Science", "Journal of Rocks", "Geological Science", "Journal of Geology", "Frontiers of Geology", "Journal of Petroleum", etc. Received more than 10 science and technology awards, including the Youth Geological Science and Technology Award, Shaanxi Province Science and Technology Award, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Award, Tianjin Binhai New Area Science and Technology Progress Award, CNOOC Tianjin Branch Science and Technology Progress Award, and China Petroleum Society Excellent Paper Award. In 2016 and 2017, he was successively selected as a "Young Academic Talent of Northwest University", a special expert of Shaanxi Province, and a high-level talent introduction program of Shaanxi Province; The leader of the "Basin Evolution and Energy Mineral Innovation Team" in Shaanxi Province's Youth Innovation Team for Universities
