Northwest University Oil and Gas Reservoir Development Research Group (NWURDG):

The research team is committed to providing technical support for sustained and stable production of oil fields and CCUS, with the responsibility of building digital intelligent oil fields and achieving the "dual carbon" goal, and providing feasible solutions for the petroleum industry 4.0 era and global climate change

Welcome students with backgrounds in petroleum engineering, resource exploration engineering, applied mathematics, computer software engineering, etc. to join the oil and gas industry.

Ding Shuaiwei, a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a PhD in engineering, is an associate professor, doctoral supervisor, visiting scholar at the University of Tulsa in the United States, a member of the American Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Xinjiang Petroleum Geology.2oil displacement and storage (CCUS), and numerical simulation in the development of oil and gas fields. At present, I have led 12 scientific research projects and published more than 50 papers, including 28 papers by the first and corresponding authors (16 indexed by SCI/EI). I have authorized/published 18 patents and software copyrights, and my achievements have been cited more than 380 times
