1、 Personal Profile

      Song Wenlei, male, professor, doctoral supervisor. Recipient of Shaanxi Outstanding Youth Fund. In 2007 and 2010, they graduated from the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and the Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively. I graduated with a PhD from Peking University in 2014 and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Peking University (2014-2016) and Mendel University in the Czech Republic (2016-2019). I also worked as an assistant researcher at Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic (2016-2019). In 2019, I joined the Department of Geology at Northwestern University. Formerly a visiting scholar at the German Geological Center (GFZ) and a member of the Horizon 2020 HiTech AlkCarb project team for rare earth and rare metal mineralization in the European Union. Hosted multiple national natural science foundation general projects and sub projects of major national science and technology projects in Shenzhen; Participated as a key member in the Czech Science Foundation's major project on carbonate rock key metal mineralization (2019-2023); Received funding from the "Young Academic Talents" Program of Northwest University in 2020.

      Research direction: 1) Genesis and prospecting models of rare earth rare and rare scattered (key) metal deposits;   2) The origin, evolution, and tectonic background of carbonate alkaline magma, as well as the deep carbon cycle in the Earth; 3) Simulating the behavior of elements and minerals in the evolution of carbonate alkaline rock magma fluid through high-temperature and high-pressure experiments; 4) The application of mineral automatic quantitative analysis technology based on scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum detection in geology.
