    Wu Zhiyu, male, PhD, professor level senior engineer. Head of the "Unconventional Oil and Gas Exploration and Development" research team at Northwest University. Long term work on the front line of oilfield production and research, dedicated to the exploration and development of oil and gas in the Ordos Basin, focusing on tackling world-class challenges in the large-scale development of unconventional ultra-low permeability reservoirs and shale reservoirs in the oil and gas industry. We have achieved systematic and innovative research results in the study of reservoir formation laws, shale oil reservoir mechanisms, and development theory and technology in ultra-low permeability oil fields. Participated in and organized the entire exploration and development process of China's first billion ton level fully assembled ultra-low permeability Ansai oilfield, breaking the foreign experts' conclusion that "marginal oil fields have no development value", and established a series of ultra-low permeability oilfield development technology, which was established by China National Petroleum Corporation as the "Ansai model".. Since 2017, through the integrated innovation practice of unconventional oil and gas theory, technology, and management, we have broken through the bottleneck technology blockade of foreign shale oil exploration and development. New technologies have broken multiple industry records in China, and the first million ton shale oil development demonstration base has been built as scheduled, realizing the scale benefit development of unconventional shale oil and giving birth to the discovery of the 1 billion ton shale oil reservoir "Qingcheng Oilfield". I am currently a member of the editorial board of the journal "Special Oil and Gas Reservoirs". I have published 4 monographs and over 30 papers, and have won 2 national level awards, 11 provincial and ministerial level awards, and more than 20 bureau level awards. Publish 6 first author versions of graduate textbooks or academic works (translated works) in the professional field; Published a total of 21 academic papers related to this discipline as the first author or corresponding author in core or higher journals; Hosted 5 ongoing research projects.
